Alliance on Aging
|
General operating support to provide services to primarily low-income older adults throughout Monterey County giving seniors the capacity to avoid crisis through prevention and early intervention programs. Through direct services and referral, Alliance on Aging provides assistance to seniors which extends their ability to live independently, protects them from abuse and enhances quality of life. |

Central Coast HIV/AIDS Services (aka CCCIL) |
General operating support to administer and maintain HIV/AIDS service programs. CCHAS provides housing; related safety-net; end-of-life services to those with HIV/AIDS; and HIV education, prevention and testing to those at high risk. |

Community Human Services |
General operating support of a variety of behavioral health services intended to increase the self-sufficiency of individuals from underserved populations who are uninsured and do not qualify for public assistance. Services are designed to prevent substance abuse and mental health issues, as well as to treat existing problems. CHS provides people of all ages with the tools and support to overcome addiction, mental illness and homelessness, to create lasting change in their lives. |

Family Service Agency of the Central Coast (dba Suicide Prevention Service) |
Program support to maintain access for all residents to a 24-hour multilingual suicide crisis line. |
| Interim, Inc | Operating expenses for MCHOME program for homeless adults with mental illness. MCHOME is a collaborative project between Interim, MC Department of Behavioral Health and several local homeless service providers. The program combines intensive outreach with housing and support services to move homeless adults with mental illness off the street and into housing so they can begin to recover. |
| Monterey County Rape Crisis Center | Program support for Sexual Assault Response Team Program and high school based sexual violence prevention clubs. The Monterey County Rape Crisis Center provides 24-crisis intervention and counseling for survivors of sexual abuse/assault, safety awareness education and prevention to the community, and child abuse prevention education to public schools. |
| Restorative Justice Partners, Inc | General operating support of RJP which provides community-based mediation resources as an alternative for judges, police and probation officers in dealing with criminal offenders and their victims. |
| Second Chance Youth & Family Program | General operating support to provide juvenile crisis intervention services addressing: aggressive and violent behavior, youth gang involvement, conflict resolution, anger management, and drug and/or alcohol abuse issues. All services are focused on reducing the number of youth joining and participating in gangs. |
| Sun Street Centers | General operating and program support for alcohol and drug addiction prevention services for youth and families living in Monterey County. |
| Sunrise House | General operating support for Youth Alternative to Violence program, which will serve approx. 250 individuals. The 16-session course will be offered at the MC Youth Center, Silver Star Resource Center, Sunrise House, and in Soledad. Sunrise House provides 24-hour crisis intervention and counseling for youth and their families for drug-related, family, school or other personal problems, including anger management. |
| YWCA of Monterey County | General operating support to continue and expand services for individuals of all ages. YWMC of Monterey County provides emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and integrated services for counseling services at three county-wide locations, as well as legal advocacy and violence prevention education within schools. |
| C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Monterey County |
General operating support to support volunteer advocacy activities for children assigned to CASA by the Dependency Court. CASA recruits, screens, trains and supervises volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care. |

| Boy Scouts, Monterey Bay Area Council | Program support to start-up a Hispanic Initiatives Program in East Salinas. The Boy Scouts Instill Lifetime Values, Ethical Character & Train Youth in Citizenship, Service & Leadership. |
| Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County | General operating support to sustain staff capacity needed to forge positive mentoring relationships through the delivery of a comprehensive lineup of youth development programs and services during out-of-school time hours. |
| Community Partnership for Youth | General operating support to sustain prevention programs in Seaside and Salinas. Community Partnership for Youth (CPY) provides consistent support in a safe environment for youth to explore and discover their potential, learn to develop values, character, life skills and responsibility. |
| Girls Scouts of California's Central Coast | Support afterschool programs targeting girls from primarily low-income backgrounds in South and Northwest Monterey County, and the Girl Scouts program center in East Salinas through GSCCC's Community Collaborations Program (CCP). |
| Rancho Cielo Youth Campus | General operating support for Rancho Cielo Youth Campus programs including Youth Corps, Culinary Academy, Wild Land Fuels and Silver Star Youth. Programs combine academics, leading to a California high school diploma or GED, and construction or culinary arts vocational training for Monterey County at-risk youth. |
| Reading is Fundamental | Program support to help give children books for their homes, in order to have them read more in home, at school, with family members, with books on a variety of topics, by a variety of authors. |
| YMCA of the Monterey Peninsula | General operating support to sustain youth development programs (afterschool, tutoring, sports and day camp) and to expand SHARE Tutoring program at Crumpton Elementary School. |
| YMCA, Salinas Community | Program support to sustain existing youth development programs (afterschool care, day camp and sports) as well as expand recently developed outreach programs for youth in Alisal. |
| YMCA, South County | Program support to ensure there are safe, supervised, nurturing and constructive activities for South County youth. Y programs provide primary prevention that helps South County youth gain the character, support and knowledge to succeed in life. |

| Catholic Charities Diocese of Monterey | Program support for operations of the Family Supportive Services (FSS). FSS provides direct services to clients for basic needs. |
| Food Bank for Monterey County | General operating support to offset occupancy for emergency food assistance programs. The Food Bank for Monterey County is the largest distributor of emergency supplemental food in Monterey County, dispensing food to low-income recipients and to non-profit agencies providing food assistance. |
| Foster Grandparents Program c/o Seniors Council | Intergenerational enterprise that mobilizes very low-income seniors to serve 15-25 hours per week as volunteer mentors and tutors working one-on-one with children with special needs and at-risk youth in schools, day care and Head State Centers, and libraries. |
| Franciscan Workers of Junipero Serra (dba Dorothy's Place) | Program support for Dorothy's Pace Hospitality Center's Kitchen ("Dorothy's Kitchen") and Women Alive! Emergency Shelter ("WA!")!. Dorothy's Kitchen provides two hot meals daily to the very poor, indigent and homeless. WA! provides a hot meal, shower, activities and overnight sleep for 16 homeless single women. |
| Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley | General operating support to help cover the costs of providing home-delivered meals to frail seniors and disabled adults who can't shop or cook for themselves. Volunteers will deliver approx 104,000 nutritious meals to the homes elderly seniors and disabled adults. |
| Meals on Wheels, Monterey Peninsula | General operating support for Home Delivered Meals (HDM) and Group/Congregate Dining, as well as Sally Griffin Active Living Center classes and services. HDM program provides nutritious meals to frail elderly and disabled homebound adults, while the Group Dining program serves a nutritious noon meal to active seniors at the SGALC. |
| The Salvation Army Service Extension | Program support to provide basic human needs services to the rural communities of the Salinas Valley. It is the mission of Salvation Army Service Extension to empower individuals and families through community volunteerism, provide basic human needs resources, and connects and engages community members so that they can make more informed decisions and ultimately become volunteer community leaders. |
| Shelter Outreach Plus | General operating support of four emergency shelter programs, three transitional housing programs and one mobile outreach program. Shelter Outreach Plus works to end homelessness or domestic violence by providing safe housing, compassionate support, and opportunities for self-sufficiency through outreach, emergency shelter and transitional housing. |

| Central Coast Center for Independent Living (aka CCCIL) | Program support to increase the number of people with disabilities who obtain benefits and services, and increase their independent living skills, as well as to provide information and referral to services they need |
| Gateway Center | General operating support to provide residential and day programs that serve adults with developmental disabilities in Monterey County. |
| HOPE Services | Program support for comprehensive employment training and job placement programs that provide people with developmental disabilities the opportunities for career development, advancement, employment longevity, and self-sufficiency. |
| Housing Resource Center for Monterey County | General operating support to provide homeless prevention and homeownership services to Monterey County households including rental assistance, financial education and pre and post-purchase homeownership education and counseling. |
| Legal Services for Seniors | General operating support to help pay legal staff's salaries. LSS's objective is to provide free legal assistance to 3000+ senior citizens every year, most of whom are low and very-low income with no other access to full service legal assistance. |
| The Salvation Army, Peninsula Corps | General operating support to provide basic needs assistance, child development programming, and housing/financial assistance and counseling to low income individuals and families, primarily on the Monterey Peninsula. |
| Turning Point of Central California, Inc. | General operating support of programs that provide an alternative to locked detention for first time youth offenders and reentry services to adults coming back into our community from an institutions. |
