Family Supportive Services Program: Family to Family, which serves the City of Marina by promoting Foster Care among families of faith; Tattoo Removal service at no cost for those that are qualified; and Supportive Services, which provides emergency assistance for rent, food and utilities for the working poor. Immigration and Citizenship Program offers assistance with naturalization, family petitions, and other immigration processes. Clinical Counseling Program offers individual and family-oriented therapy on an ability-to-pay basis. All services are available without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation and national origin.

HAC operates Homeless Prevention Programs that assist Monterey County residents to either remain in their current rental unit or enter the rental housing market, to learn about available housing services and to gain life skills. Our programs benefit families and individuals who are striving to maintain financial independence, especially low and very low-income families or/and individuals. We provide rental assistance, security deposit guarantees, tenant education and financial literacy education.

Meals on Wheels prepares and delivers three meals per day, five days a week to homebound seniors and the handicapped on the Monterey Peninsula. The Sally Griffin Active Living Center in Pacific Grove is a multipurpose senior center that offers group meals and a variety of activities and services.

The Salvation Army Monterey Peninsula Corps provides food, shelter, clothing, personal care and counsel for people in need through its Good Samaritan Center, rehabilitation for homeless families at Casa de las Palmas, and licensed, affordable preschool and afterschool care for children in the Child Development Center, as well as educational and developmental programs for young people in its Youth Center. The Salvation Army’s Emergency/ Disaster Canteen provides relief for the whole community in time of earthquake, fire, or flood.
