December 7: In-Kind Donation Sale Inventory List

The next Tri-County In-Kind Donation Program Shopping Day will be held on December 7, 2011. This event, sponsored by the Seniors Council and in partnership with United Way Monterey County gives nonprofits, schools, churches and agencies that serve vulnerable populations eligibility to shop for new items that are 80-90% off the list price or free slightly used items.  The organization must be a member of the Seniors Council In-Kind Donation Program and joining is easy. 

The current inventory, includes over $210,000 dollars worth of donated items.  Inventory includes infant and nursery items, toys, media, clothing, office items, Kitchen supplies, electrical appliances, bedroom items, bathroom items, household items, backyard items and Christmas supplies. On Highway #1 three miles north of Moss Landing Power Station & four miles south of the Riverside Drive/Rte. #129 Interchange Across the Highway from the landmark Castle House.
