Get Coffee at Peet's and Support UWMC

We're delighted to announce that Peet’s Coffee & Tea has selected United Way Monterey County as their local charity of choice for 2011.  Last year this promotion raised more than $3000.00!

Peet's will hold an informational event on Saturday November 19th from 11:00 to 5:00pm.  Please drop by for a cup of coffee and look for the United Way table.  Peet's is located at  560 Munras Ave across the parking lot from Trader Joe's in Downtown Monterey.

During the week of December 17-24 the store will have a donation bowl so that customers can donate to United Way.  On December 24th, Peet's will give away coffee to their customers and ask the customers to donate what they would have spent on their coffee to United Way. In addition to what is raised, Peet's will also provide a corporate match of up to $1000.
