Save the Date: In-kind Donation Sale Scheduled for Dec. 7

Mark Your Calendar for the next shopping day of the Seniors Council In-Kind Donation Program on Wednesday, Dec. 7. 

Doors doors open at 8:30AM at Moss Landing Middle School (corner of Highway 1 and Springfield Road).  The inventory that will be available is valued at about $200,000.  Items available will include: toys, infant and toddler items, household goods, bathroom items, kitchen wares, hardware and much more.   They come from Bed, Bath & Beyond; Buy,Buy, Baby;  Pottery Barn Kids, Mattell and many more retailers. Representatives of nonprofits, schools, churches and agencies that serve vulnerable populations are eligible to shop.  The organization must be a member of the Seniors Council In-Kind Donation Program and joining is easy.  For more information or to join, contact Tom Reefe at  by email or at (831) 465-1778.

The program has a new pricing practice in which it will provide the fair market value or list price of many items compared to the  small administrative fee.  In most cases the savings are 80% and in some cases they will be as much as 90%. Please pass along the word about our very successful service to any interested party.  The program is starting its seventh year of operation  and during that time have distributed over $5.5 million in new and unused goods.
