The Community Engagement Coordinator contributes to the efforts of United Way Monterey County by strategizing, creating, and executing community engagement activities that attract donors, potential investors, and corporate partners to volunteer throughout the year. Outreach Worker, Central Coast Center for Independent Living
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Outreach Worker is responsible for providing outreach and education services within the scope of a given project in order to meet program requirements. The position requires strong interpersonal skills to make connections and build relationships with the target consumer base. Works collaboratively with other departments at CCCIL as well as other community-based agencies with the purpose making the critical linkages to housing services for community members. Educates the general public on the services available at CCCIL and eligibility requirements for services. The position is involved in direct recruitment of participants for housing services provided by CCCIL case managers. Works as a member of a team following program and reporting procedures via guidance from the Program Manager and grant deliverables. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. Full Job Description
