UWMC Campaign Celebration

UWMC raised $3,563,691 during its 2008-2009 Campaign. Success is attributed to a generous community that dug a little deeper to ensure funding for critical human service programs. United Way is much more than fundraising. This past year, UWMC launched 2-1-1, a clearinghouse for information on community services, and continued to manage the Volunteer Center. UWMC Wins Business Excellence Award
|
|
UWMC was selected as the Business Excellence Award winner for 2009 by the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. UWMC was chosen from among all categories of businesses for the honor. Last year United Way was named Nonprofit of the Year by the Chamber.
