Monterey County Preschool Service Corps partners with preschools by providing AmeriCorps Members who offer individualized language and literacy tutoring. The program’s mission is to support kindergarten readiness and help children who are below age level for literacy and qualify for subsidized care.
The program is hosted by UWMC, overseen by California Volunteers, and sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service.
