What We Do
The purpose of the Council is to facilitate the development of comprehensive and collaborative delivery systems of services for children and their families.
All children in Monterey County live in safe, nurturing homes and communities; they are healthy, valued, succeed in school and realize their full potential.
The Children’s Council provides leadership and policy direction to encourage the development of a comprehensive and collaborative delivery system of services to children and youth in Monterey County.
General Assembly Public Notice
The Monterey County Children's Council meets on the 2nd Monday of each month from 12:00pm to 1:30pm at the Monterey County Office of Education (901 Blanco Circle, Salinas, CA 93901). This is a public meeting.
Executive Committee Time & Location
The Children's Council Executive Committee meets on the first Monday of each month from 7:30am to 9:00am at the Superintendent's Office (901 Blanco Circle, Salinas CA 93901). This is a public meeting.
